Brief

To refurbish the offices, modernise and improve usable space.

Description

Knowsley House, a typical 1970's building has a good, open and usable space. Internally the offices were served by perimeter heating and cooling systems. As was standard at the time, all windows were single glazed. Our role was to implement an improved office space design through a comprehensive refurbishment of the premises a llowing for future partitioning of office space to be considered according to the needs of the client.

Project Details

Space and utitlities
Complete removal of existing electrical/mechanical services including lighting, heating and air conditioning systems.

Installation of new power system.

Energy efficient systems for lighting (including emergency lighting) were installed and all fixtures, fittings and cabling updated.

A new, modern fire alarm system installed including smoke detection and sounders.

Installation of new concealed systems within the ceiling void. Losnade units installed to recycle air.

Removal of kitchen and installation of new kitchen.

Decoration
Complete office and utility redecoration including floor coverings.

The offices now have a cleaner, more contemporary feel and lend themselves well to full floor use or possible partitioning if required.
